I’m Dale Salvador, Owner and Body Piercer at Pierced Hearts. I started this shop back in 2022 with my brother and partner to create a new space where people can come to a safe environment and get pierced with jewelry from the best brands. Owning my own shop really changed my perspective on the piercing industry and let me see a whole new side of it and I’m excited to continue to grow with this ever-changing industry. Outside of piercing, finding new spots to fish, working on my ’66 Pontiac, and camping in new spots are all things I love filling my time with.

My name is Danielle, but many know me as Beans. I was born and raised in Vallejo and lived in Albuquerque for a few years. I always wanted to be a piercer. By 18, I had my own horror stories about bad aftercare and sketchy shops, and that made me want to learn more. In 2022, the shop I'd gone to my whole life was hiring, and the rest is history. I started at Pierced Hearts on Day 0, and seeing this shop evolve with us has been the most beautiful thing to witness. My favorite piercings are anything that needs a curved bar: eyebrows, navels, rooks, vertical labrets. I also love redecorating and upgrading existing piercings, because you don't always need a new piercing for a new look! My biggest priorities in the piercing room will always be your safety, your comfort, and your voice. Outside of piercing, I love arts & crafts, finding new music, my fur babies, too many movies, and the wood restoration my late Grandpa taught me.

Vince has spent 10 years in the piercing industry. He started as front-of-house at a tattoo and piercing shop in Berkeley, worked his way up to manager, and now owns Pierced Hearts in Sacramento and Alameda. His favorite parts of the job are meeting new people, creating beautiful curations, working with an amazing team, and making people happy. These days, no two days look the same. Vince travels between both studios, runs supplies, works with vendors and staff, and oversees daily operations. What drives him is simple: he wants people to know that Pierced Hearts cares about what it does and strives to be the best in the industry. That means no cutting corners, only the best jewelry, piercing techniques, and sterilization practices, and a studio where everyone feels comfortable and excited when they walk in and leave happy. When he does get time off, you'll find him fishing, camping, exploring national parks, or cooking and hunting down the best food in town.

I found my way into the piercing industry through my older brother who has nearly 10 years of experience. While I’m not a piercer I’ve grown to love this community and have learned the importance of anatomy, education, safety, and strong ethics within the industry. Hi, I'm Kirsten, but I go by Lu! I’ve been drawn to piercings for as long as I can remember, and I’m so lucky to have the opportunity to work alongside my family in a field I’m deeply passionate about. I joined Pierced Hearts as Front of House in November 2025, marking my very first role in the piercing industry. My day-to-day involves keeping the shop a clean and welcoming space for everyone who walks through our doors. I love helping clients select the perfect jewelry, walking them through the healing process and aftercare, and managing the sterilization and reprocessing of our piercing tools. I currently hold a bloodborne pathogens certification and am incredibly excited to start my piercing apprenticeship soon! My absolute favorite part of this job is working closely with a team dedicated to helping people express themselves safely and comfortably. Outside of the shop, I’m a big fan of the local live music scene and love creating my own art, particularly sculpting and watercolor painting.

Samy brings a bubbly and sweet energy to the studio as our Concierge. She is passionate about making every client feel both excited and completely comfortable as they prepare to get their body modifications at a professional establishment. For Samy, one of the best parts of the job is getting to work alongside family and creating a welcoming environment for everyone who walks through the doors. When she isn't at the studio, Samy’s free time is all about the people (and animals!) she loves. You can usually find her hanging out with her wife, playing video games with her family, or spending quality time with her pup.
